SUDAN: The Falcons of Jediane outclassed Bafana Bafana during the Afcon qualifier on Sunday evening.
On the Africa Cup Nations, Bafana Bafana has suffered defeat against Sudan, making Sudan and Ghana qualifiers for next year’s finals in Cameroon.
Millions of South Africans disappointed with Bafana Bafana’s performance loosing to the Falcons of Jediane (Sudan) on Sunday evening for the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations finals.
Bafana Bafana, the 1996 African champions had to avoid a defeat to Sudan or at least maintain a draw against the Falcons of Jediane in order to book their spot in next year’s tournament which will be hosted by Cameroon.
However, South Africa suffered a surprise 2-0 defeat to Sudan in their final Group C match at Al-Hilal Stadium in Omdurman, two first-half goals from Saifeldin Bakhit and Mohamed Abdel Raman helped earn Sudan their maiden victory over South Africa.
This loss has led to a debate on Social Media to whether the 1996 African champions head coach Mr Molefe Ntseki is still relevant for the national team,
“The entire squad of Bafana Bafana should be dismantled like France did after losing in 2010 and Molefi (sic) Ntseki should seek employment at ABC League,”
“Bafana Bafana only win when it’s really unnecessary. It’s Like a Car guard who helps you to reverse your car from an empty parking lot,” One disappointed Twitter user said.
