PARIS: Kylian Mbappe ‘refuses’ €1bn transfer as talks are ‘ruled out’ with Saudi officials left hanging ‘in Paris’.

Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe is not interested in joining Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal, according to multiple reports.

Al-Hilal reportedly made a world record €300 million bid to sign Mbappe and also offered the player €700m. French champions PSG are actively looking to sell the France captain after he made it clear he will not extend his contract beyond 2024.

The Ligue 1 giants reportedly believe Mbappe already has an agreement to join Real Madrid on a free transfer next year.

Los Blancos are very quiet and relaxed during all of this, which does hint they believe the player is destined to join them, which appears to be more of a fact than a rumour at this stage.

There have been several reports suggesting Mbappe is not open to a transfer to the middle east, with one outlet claiming he would rather sit on the bench at Parc des Princes for an entire season.

It now appears this is the case, with L’Equipe the first to say Mbappe has rejected Al-Hilal before giving the club’s hierarchy the chance to convince him to join.
