PRETORIA: Sundowns are now in the second spot in the log standings with 12 points after 4 games.

Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies striker in the Hollywood bets Super League Lelona Daweti aims to collect all important points against the big clubs in the league.

The in-form striker says they have to fulfill their mandate for the season which is to win nine games in a row despite it looks not easy for them.

“We just want to win all our games, we have to beat all the tough teams and be done with them so we can be relieved this season,” said Daweti.

“Now we have another goal that we are setting, we have to win nine games to achieve our goal for this season,” she said.

“Preparations have been really good, our coach has been pushing us to win these games in a row,” concluded Daweti.

Daweti expressed her playing style and talent when they beat Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) last week Sunday in the Hollywood Bets Super League.

Daweti who once named a player of the season in 2017 at the Cape Town Soccer Tournament as well as the young Queen of the Tournament for the same Tournament in 2013 and 2015, scored two beautiful goals to help her side in a 4-1 victory in the Tshwane derby.

The defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies will be looking to continue their great run this weekend when they lock horns with Thunderbirds Ladies at Groenkloof Stadium.

However, Sundowns are now in the second spot in the log standings with 12 points after 4 games as they have not lost any game behind Touch Ladies FC who are on top of the log.
