JOHANNESBURG: Truter and his technical team have been shown the door following the 3-1 defeat against Kaizer Chiefs.

Moroka Swallows’s Brandon Truter and his technical team were told not to report for duty following a horrific defeat at Dobsonville Stadium.

Effective immediately, Moroka Swallows FC has on a statement announced that Mr Brandon Truter and his technical team have been shown the door following the 3-1 defeat against Kaizer Chiefs that required an urgent meeting on Sunday evening.

“The management of Swallows FC held an emergency meeting with the coaching staff. Management was further convinced that something drastically need to happen,” said the club on the statement.

“With the team at the rock bottom of the Dstv Premiership, management has resolved that the entire coaching staff should not report for duty with immediate effect,” the club added.

In addition, speaking for Swallows FC, club chairperson Mr David Mogashoa has since apologized for the team’s ‘poor’ performance while urging supporters to not abandon the club. As it stands today, Moroka Swallows are feet away from relegation with twelve games played, one win, five draws, six losses amounting to a total of eight points on the log.

Way lesser stats than the previous season where they finished in the sixth position with eight wins, twenty draws and two losses amounting to forty-four points.

After noting concerns raised by supporters, the management has promised to deliver as an ‘interim arrangement will be announced soon’.
