Vanessa Bryant Launches New Clothing Line In Honour Of Late Daughter

0 LOS ANGELES: She gave it her all every time she played with her Mambacita self-drive and competitiveness sweatpants and facemasks.
Vanessa Bryant launches the new clothing line to honour her daughter, Gigi Bryant who died two years ago in a helicopter crash with her dad Kobe Bryant.
Vanessa Bryant launched the clothing line at the beginning of her and her daughter’s birthday month this May with her own foundation Mamba Mambacita Sports Foundation which Vanessa started in order to keep Gigi and Kobe’s legacies alive.
The merchandise can be found on the foundation’s Instagram page. The Mamba Mambacita Sports Foundation Is a non-profit organization that is supported by charity donations and sponsored by a few organizations like the LA Lakers, Kobe played basketball for the Lakers for 20 years.
Vanessa shared details about the limited clothing capsule which includes a purple hoodie – an Ode to Gigi’s forever status as a Laker’s princess. Black and white hoodie – The colours she wore on her Mamba uniform and the colours used in the Mamba & Mambacita sports foundation.
The red text – symbolizes Gigi’s red bow, from k-8th grade Gigi always loved to wear a red bow in her school pictures. Mamacita Logo – has wings with a star because I always called her ”My Star and ”Wings” Gigi had an amazing wingspan for her young age.
#PlayGigiWay: is inscribed on the right arm -Gianna’s shooting arm.
She gave it her all every time she played with her Mambacita self-drive and competitiveness sweatpants and facemasks. The #2 in a heart symbolizes the number Gianna wore wrapped in love to represent her love for basketball and everyone she met. It also represents the way we will forever hold Gianna in our hearts.
She wrote on Instagram on her daughter’s birthday on the 1st May.
“Today is my baby’s birthday. When I thought about how best to celebrate Gianna’s birthday with so many who loved her, I knew it had to be a combination of sharing her bright and fun personality with her sense of purpose and passion that would help make a difference in the world.
“Gianna was kind, energetic, a leader, and had so much Mambacita swag. When I thought about who would help me capture her laid back yet girly – edge I thought of female-owned @dannijo two fun-loving sisters running a clothing line, they jumped at the opportunity to celebrate Gigi’s birthday with us, completely pro-bono,” she said.
“I am so proud of the limited – edition MAMBACITA X DANNIJO tie dye sweat set capsule collection, which celebrates Gigi’s spirit in every little detail- even the placement of #PlayGigisWay on the right arm of each hoodie- her shooting arm.
“But what Gigi would love most about the collection is that 100% of the proceeds will support the MAMBA and Mambacita Sports Foundation, which is dedicated to creating a positive impact for underserved athletes and young women in sports.
“Gigi was especially motivated to change the way everyone viewed women in sports and it’s fitting that this capsule represents her values. Thank you to everyone who made this fundraiser possible, inspired by the loving memory of Gianna Maria – Onor’e Bryant.

Most of the clothes are sold out and has worn by close friends such as Ciara and Lala The Kardashians, Athletes Sabrina Lonescu Allen Iverson And the entire LA Lakers team.
