JOHANNESBURG: Sehoana has slammed claims made by his estranged wife, Lebohang Machaba, labelling him a deadbeat.

The businessman has hit back at Machaba’s accusations that he hasn’t given her a cent amid their messy divorce, although they are married in a community of property.

Machaba who insists she is entitled to 50% of the mogul’s footwear business empire, claims he has kicked her out of their home and doesn’t take care of their son.

However, Drip Footwear Founder, Lekau Sehoana, in a reported interview with Zimoja, says his estranged wife is simply trying to extort him for money, and says he does take care of both his son’s and Machaba’s costs.

Not only does Sehoana say he allows Machaba to live in their home, but he claims he gives her R50 000 a month towards expenses.

“Lebohang Machaba is taken care of. I send her R50 000 every month. She stays under my roof at Waterfall Estates, she is under my medical aid.

I bought her a BMW X6M sports, which cost R2 million. These claims are just lies she’s feeding the media to destroy me,” Lekau Sehoana as quoted from Zimoja.

Sehoana is accused of cheating on Machaba, who was reportedly hospitalised with depression because of the stress she’s under with their divorce.

However, Lekau Sehoana refutes claims that his estranged wife was hospitalised, requesting medical records to substantiate this.

He says allegations that his son had to drop out of school because he was not paying for his fees were lies, and says he is being denied access to his son.

“I will send you emails about my son’s school fees. I will also send you the cancellation of school I made after paying school fees for 8-months without my son going to school, and on top of that I am being denied access to my son.”

The businessman has reportedly left the country and is in Paris, claiming Machaba has put a hit on his life.
