JOHANNESBURG: Nyovest previously said that 2021 will be the year he releases the most music he has ever released.
Casper Nyovest recently released a new album titled “Sweet and Short 2.0’’, and before he released it he announced that the album will be released soon and it will be an Amapiano album.
His album has ten tracks where he has featured top and talented artistes like Zuma, Kammu Dee, Ma Lemon, Semi Tee, Boohle, DJ Sumbody, Reece Madlisa, Samthing Soweto, Luu Dadeejay and Lady Du.
‘’Siyathandana’’ tagged song by Cassper Nyovest featuring Boohle and Abizola has been trending the whole South Africa ever since the album was released, and the music video had reached about two million viewers in seven days.
Nyovest found it good, as the music video reached a milestone and he will be launching his first footwear line today. Cassper Nyovest expressed his exhilaration on twitter.
“When the stars align. 2 million first week. Today at 18:00 we dropping my first sneaker with @rootoffame . A family tree and @dripfootwearsa collaboration. I’ll be posting the link to join us online in a few,” he said.
Currently, Nyovest’s album stand at number one on the Apple Music ‘’All Genres’’ charts in South Africa.
Nyovest previously said that 2021 will be the year he releases the most music he has ever released.
A whopping seven of Sweet and Short 2.0 tracks chart in the top 10 on the Apple Music Botswana and the album itself also made the top spot on the ‘’All Genres’’ charts for the country.
